Being Creative

​It's hard to make time for your creativity, especially when you have so much going on in your life lately. School, work, and home life can all gain up on you, and it makes it hard for you just to sit down, relax and grab a book. Lately, my soul urges to pay attention to my creativity so much so that one of the messages I received from the Archangel Oracle was Archangel Gabriel asking me to indulge in creative writing. It said "your soul longs for creative expression through writing." I am not going to lie these cards can be very accurate, and it creeps me out, in a good way of course. So... I decided to take the advice, and here I am blogging. Wow, I never thought I would be the type to blog, but I guess it could be fun. I want to see where this takes me and how many people will be interested in what I have to say or what I am thinking. I could be very hard on myself, and I am my worst critic, but I have to learn not to be afraid and take risks, I cant doubt myself, and I just have to go with the flow and try new things. Now, I am not a writer and my grammar and spelling is horrible but it's the content that matters, no? Anyway, I wanted to try an excercise toay so whoever is reading this, I want you to try something... it might be odd but it helped me with my writing, and it helped me be more in tune with my imagination and my creative side. I got this meditation technique from my Chakra Wisdom Oracle cards. You're going to close your eyes and picture yourself in a place you've always wanted to be in; it can be any place you desire, perhaps a place you've visited before or a place you wish you have. For me, it was a place that I always envision myself just relaxing in an open field full of luscious green grass with orange and yellow tulips. In the background, I see majestic mountains the color of ice with hints of blue the wind is cool but too cold for me. This is my spot. I am sitting in the grass meditating and feeling at peace. This is where my mind wanders when I want to relax and find my happy place, always has been and I realized that today. Whenever you're having a bad day at work or home, or you're anxious (in my case) or just depressed picture your happy place. Believe me, it works! Love and Light Namaste!
